Endocrine hormones ?

The endocrine glands are located throughout the body and regulate many of its vital processes. Also it’s discussed the hormones that each endocrine gland produces and their effects on the body. First anterior pituitary secretes: GH, Prolactin, ACTH, TSH, FSH, and LH. Also posterior pituitary secretes: ADH, oxytocin. Second thyroid gland secretes: T3, T4 and produces calcitonin. Third adrenal gland Medulla secretes: epinephrine and norepinephrine also adrenal cortex secretes: glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids and androgen. Fourth Gonads secretes: Sex hormones .Fifth pancreas secretes: insulin and glucagon. Finally other endocrine glands secretes: parathyroid hormone.

Questions (click comments to post):

1- what is the hormone that secreted from anterior pituitaty and posterior pituitary?
2- what is the main function for the ADH ?
3-what is the hormonal that will lead to Uterus contraction and milk production ?

  1. 2- ADH acts on the distal convoluted tubule and the collecting tubules within the kidney to promote fluid resorption. The primary function is preservation of the body's water content. In humans vasopressin also has a weak pressor effect

  4. 2-The single most important effect of antidiuretic hormone is to conserve body water by reducing the loss of water in urine. A diuretic is an agent that increases the rate of urine formation. Injection of small amounts of antidiuretic hormone into a person or animal results in antidiuresis or decreased formation of urine, and the hormone was named for this effect.
